Up till 2008 Nokia’s XpressMusic series were lustreless, but this one differs a lot. I wouldn’t go so far as to call it revolutionary but it is really a great change. The designers didn’t spend so much effort on its style, they simply took the original look. The buttons are of average size and are a little bit raised. The modest look of the red music keys give some elegance to this phone. The pictures shot by Nokia 5310‘s 2 megapixel camera are rather good in sunlight; however, indoor images are not as good. On the whole the images are not as sharp and impressive as they could be. The same goes for video.
Sound quality is typical to Nokia, only the loudspeaker is not so outstanding, which is a result of the placement of the speaker: it is situated on the back of the phone.
