New LG Phone Sports 5.1 Mp Casio Camera
Cameras in cell phones are one of the most important things to consider when shopping for a multimedia phone. Indeed, the latest video cell phone models from Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Samsung can even rival photos taken with low-end digital cameras.
Until today, however, manufacturers such as LG couldn’t compete, but now it seems that this situation might change with LG’s new camera phone sporting a 5.1 megapixel Casio camera. To be more correct, it’s the Casio W53CA with a 28mm lens, color correction, 9-point auto focus, and anti-shake technology.
According to Engadget other specifications sound good as well.
The LCD measures 2.8-inches (down from the LH2300′s 3-inch LCD) yet still manages the same 800 x 480 pixel resolution for DMB television and landscape or portrait web browsing. Inside the little 18.9-mm thin handset you’ll find 4GB NAND / 1GB SDRAM and microSD expansion for all your snaps and VGA / 30fps video.
No word about price yet, but the model will first appear in Japan next month.
