Motorola DH02 Makes TV Mobile

Motorola DH02 Makes TV MobileFor those of us addicted to TV, it’s not always possible to be at home for our favorite shows at the right time. Sure, we can record the program and TV on demand has made the situation a little better, but Motorola now offer us a cell phone TV as an additional solution of being able to watch TV wherever and whenever we want.

The Motorola DH02 features a 4.3-inch high resolution WQVGA display which is large enough to watch a desired program on the move. The DH02 is not Motorola’s first mobile TV product as it introduced the DH01 at the beginning of the year. Instead, the DH02 is kind of an update rather then a fully new product. However, it also includes some significant improvements among other touch screen phones.

In particular, it has an improved touch-screen interface, but the main improvement that has caught everyone’s attention is its HSDPA / GPRS feature. Here is what IntoMobile reports.

There will also be voice-guided GPS (aka Sat Nav), a microSD card on-board for even MORE storage, and HSDPA thrown in there to give the all-important “back-channel” for interactive services.

infoSync World reports other features which might be useful as well.

DH02 features a PVR to record mobile broadcasts, as well as a buffer to pause up to five minutes of programming. Not enough to skip all the commercials of a live broadcast, of course.
