Flippable Dual Monitor System From EVGA

Most of today’s PC video cards allow users to connect two monitors at the same time to their computers, but EVGA went one better and presented a dual monitor system at CeBIT 2008 which is flippable as well.

The system is made of two 17″ wide screen monitors connected to each other with the ability to open and close like a book although I can’t offhand think of a situation when I’d need to close my monitor, but anyway.

Each display can be flipped 180 degrees which is potentially useful as the monitor might be in between two persons and both can see what’s happening on screen. According to AVING it has other features as well.

Equipped with 1.3M webcam and microphone, it can be opened and closed 90 degree horizontally and flipped 180 degrees for each panel. The company also introduced “EVGA UV Plus+”, a USB-based device allowing for multiple displays in minutes.

There is no word about the price yet, but you can watch the dual monitor system in action below.
