Tascam Is Playing On – With A New Portable Guitar/Bass Recorder
A new product from Tascam will be out on August 26, debuting in Japan. The price will vary from $310-350. The Portable Guitar/Bass Recorder (GT-R1) is a hand-held stereo hd digital recorder, capable of recording to MP3/WAVE at 48/44.1 kHz 24-bits uncompressed, also allowing you to capture your axe work.
According to guitarcenter.com, GT-R1 contains a built-in high-quality stereo condenser microphone.
The A-B configuration stereo mike allows natural wide sound “near to human” listening and there is a variable-angle microphone mechanism to help find the elusive “sweet spot” for the best recordings.
The hd digital recorder also accepts both direct guitar or bass input and preset rhythm patterns. For those who really like to compose music, “the over-dub function will let you create perfect tracks!”
Tascam GT-R1 has other multiple features. Among them:
- Variable speed playback without Changing the Pitch
- Key control and Fine pitch
- Reducing Guitar/Bass from the music
- Built-in tuner and metronome
But what is the greatest feature? Tascam GT-R1 Portable Guitar/Bass Recorder also has a “trainer” function. According to guitarcenter.com:
With variable speed playback, the GT-R1 gives you the ability to slow down the speed of CD without changing the pitch and allows you to quickly learn rhythm, lead, or bass parts of your favorite artists! GT-R1 can reduce Guitar/Bass tracks from music so you can hear yourself as you play along. It has a built-in tuner and metronome.
gadgettastic.com reports that its weight is 208 grams including the battery. So now, guitar playing becomes lighter and easier!!!
