What happens when you combine the need to remember important dates such as your own anniversary, gold or silver, and electronics? Well, the $760 14 kt gold might be the result.
Now, when you order the ring, you tell the manufacturers what important date you’d like to remember. They program it in and after you start to wear it on your finger, 24 hour before the date it will start to warm up before reaching 120 degrees Fahrenheit. It will stay hot for ten seconds and repeat the same procedure each hour. What a great innovation in jewelry art!
GIZMODO reports that the ring is not dangerous.
That’s supposed to be warm enough to be uncomfortable but not hot enough to burn you. The Remember Ring converts the heat from your hand into electricity using a micro-thermo pile, keeping that battery charged and its heat-bomb clock ticking away, ready to burn you again next year.
But if the idea doesn’t sound good enough for guys to warrant the price, perhaps women will buy one for them instead. Of course, one date doesn’t sound enough, but for those with money to spare or many women in their life, you can always wear more than one.
