OPUS 8 Watch Shows Time In 3D
Almost everything in the world of consumer electronics has a prototype and there are various experiments with introducing new features thorough concepts. Watches are not an exception as the OPUS 8 clearly illustrates.
The new watch looks pretty similar to a normal watch, but notice the way it shows the time. In fact, it’s not always showing the time until you activate it with a button on the side of the case. That’s when you’ll notice the main difference between thee OPUS 8 and a normal watch — it has a complicated system of mechanical pixels which rise up from display in order to show the time. So, it will be a unique sample in your watch collection.
Pixels basically show the time in 3D and I guess it should be really impressive watching how these pixels rise up from the display. The OPUS 8 watch would be a great gadget for Sci-Fi movies. GIZMODO gives more details.
In addition, the back of the watch features a design resembling a printed circuit that functions as a second time display. AM and PM status are featured on the left, hours and minutes in the center, and a power reserve indicator is located on the right.
