Check Out The Nokia X6 16GB With GPS
As a person who keeps track of the best mobile phones, I want to talk about the incredible Nokia X6 16GB, which attracted my attention recently.
Nokia X6 16GB is one of the company’s newest mobile phones, announced on January 26 and was released the following month. This version is just as if not more stylish than the previous X-series model, the Nokia X6 32GB.
This amazingly stylish quad-band smartphone comes in white, black, and white on pink and white on yellow highlights. It has 3.2-inch touch display with 640 x 360 pixel resolution and 16 million colors.
Perhaps one of if not the biggest selling point of the Nokia X6 16GB is the built-in Ovi Maps Navigation. This means with its GPS capabilities you will be able to get driving or walking directions (with voice instructions if the area is supported) for practically any location in the US and at least 70 other countries. There’s also 3D visual support for landmarks on the map. It includes maps for 180 countries. Navigation works independently of cellular reception, so you don’t have to be connected to a network to get to your destination.
The phone uses the latest Symbian^1 (formerly known as S60 5th Edition) operating system which gives you an opportunity of 35 hours of music playback, 4.5 hours of video playback and 11.5 hours of talk-time! Supported audio file formats include WMA, WAV, RA, AAC, A4A, MP3. RV, WMV, MP4 and 3GP video formats are also playable.
And now we turn to standby time which is up to 420 hours on 2G and up to 450 hours on 3G. As you see the power efficiency of the Li-Ion 1320 mAh battery is great to say the least!
The phone comes with 16GB on board memory and 128 RAM but there’s one thing you should know–Nokia X6 16GB has no expandable memory slot.
The 5MP camera is completed with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash. So shooting photos and widescreen VGA videos on the fly is a great convenience when you don’t have a dedicated camera with you while you’re on the go. You can’t go wrong with the Zeiss lens from my own experience.
Nokia X6 16GB supports Bluetooth stereo (A2DP) and Wi-Fi connectivity. The phone also comes with a micro USB connector.
Via the interface’s Contacts Bar you can enjoy quick access to social networking sites, like Twitter.
You can get Nokia X6 16GB for $349.99 from Amazon, but check the price regularly as it is usually subject to change.
