I’m Thinking About Buying One Of Those eBook Readers

I’m Thinking About Buying One Of Those eBook ReadersI’ve always loved to read. When I travel on vacation, I usually pack a few paperback books to read on the flight and throughout the vacation, but I make sure they’re expendable so that I can donate them to the hotel or ship when I leave to make room for souvenirs coming home. My husband thinks I need to get a Kindle for my next trip. He tells me that I could do an eBook search before each trip, download several dozen books on the device, and not have to worry about the weight of books.

On my most recent trip, I noticed a ton of people using eBook readers. I saw Nooks, Kindles, and other models being used in the airport, on the plane, and around the pool. The people using the eBook readers ranged in age from early twenties to late sixties. Curious, I asked one of the senior citizens how he liked reading books in that format. He told me that he didn’t think he would have liked eBook readers, but that his son had given him one was a gift and he ended up loving it. He could increase the font to any size he needed and he would instantly look up words he didn’t know. He said that the easiest part was the eBook search where he could choose from hundreds of thousands of book titles in mere seconds.

I’ve been researching and comparing eBook readers and just might put one on the list of potential Christmas gifts that I’ll provide to my husband in a couple of weeks.
