In particular, the ECTACO Jetbook has all the features that a reader might want, but also offers more. First of all, it’s a palm-sized device with a five inch screen and unlike its competitors, it’s mainly designed to let you read free eBooks. That means that you can’t get the latest news or anything like that, but ECTACO has found 30 web sites for you where you can find thousands of ebooks in TXT and PDF formats.

So, if Kindle would mainly prefer business travelers who need to stay updated with the latest news, then jetBook is perfect for students and everyone else interested in just ebooks. Moreover it can play MP3 files which doesn’t just mean music, but also audio books as well. For ebooks and media files, jetBook has a lot of memory, but if you’ll find it insufficient then you can always extend it by adding a micro SD memory card.

According to Gadgetell you can own one for $350. So, it’s cheaper by $50 compared with its nearest rival.
