Wall Climbing C-Bot
If you’ve ever wanted to climb walls as easily as spiders can, you might be interested in a robot (pictured above) called the C-Bot designed especially to complete that task.
The C-Bot is based on a gecko’s feet. According to Yanko Design C-Bot concept might be a strong base in future for making C-Bot’s for humanity.
This molecular adhesion, combined with C-Bot’s array of ultrasonic sensors means costly (and ugly) scaffolding may be obsolete. Theoretically you can build them big enough to carry a human. Now wouldn’t that be something!
This C-Bot might become a good spy, just attach a small camera and it could position itself almost anywhere. It’s not available for purchase, of course, but who knows, there might be some consumer toys designed on the concept in the near future.
