Backpacker’s Diary Concept PC
Conceptual products of the future are conquering new territories and have moved into the PC realm. Certainly, there’s a lot of thought about how PCs will look like in future and Backpacker’s Diary Concept PC will participate in the Next-Gen PC contest.
Recently, in our phone review we wrote about Nokia’s latest phone concept based on nanotechonlogy and now it looks as though a PC concept will be using the same idea. In its standard state it looks like a book, but when you open it up that’s when the innovation can be seen. It consists of pages like a real book, but as Next-Gen PC Design reports, each page has its own specific function.
In this “book”, different pages include different functions, like media recording, solar recharging and EL illuminant. The approach of reading a book takes the traditional way of operating computer, which encourage those backpackers to experience and share more about their trips.
This PC concept can’t replace the idea of a desktop computer just yet, but it’s a big step toward the future of PC’s.
