HTC Touch Pro

Smartphones are becoming more and more popular and that’s because of the extra software and hardware features. On the other hand, new smartphones won’t have lasting power unless they also incorporate a qwerty keyboard.
Compared with the HTC Touch, the Pro version offers an advanced qwerty keyboard that looks like a real PC keyboard with handy buttons. Touch Pro is not available for sale yet, but it will likely build upon the specifications of it’s predecessor. TECH AT HAND reports about qwerty keyboard phones and some possible features.
2.8-inch touch screen, with four times the pixels of most phones.
Vibrant TouchFLO 3D user interface powered by the 3D graphics processor.
HTC Weather - providing a constant view of weather at home and abroad.
Surf and download at broadband speed with HSDPA Internet connectivity.
3.2 Megapixel auto-focus camera for quality stills and video.
4GB of internal storage to preserve more photos, music, files and exchanged data than ever before.
Integrated GPS for use with maps software for a full turn-by-turn satellite navigation experience.
BLORGE reports on pricing.
No real word yet as to the pricing of the HTC Touch Pro (or the HTC Touch Diamond, for that matter) in the states, but you can expect it to cost more than a few pennies. Then again, if carriers are looking to position the new Touch handsets as a competitor to the iPhone, they will need to make pricing competitive. $199 for a brand new iPhone 3G is stiff competition, after all.
